Comfort Care Services is a Government Approved Provider for Home Care Packages and NDIS At Comfort Care Services, we help our clients maintain (or even increase) their independence. We start by listening to your goals then we help you to achieve those goals by maximizing the value of your home care packages.

Your care plan will be completely tailored to you. We’ll even match you with a care worker (or care workers) best suited to meet your interests and needs because this is your plan and your package.

Our experienced care managers give lots of advice and guidance, as we’re a professional and dedicated care provider.

You’ll always know who is coming to your home and when. They will arrive on time and ready to help.

Quarterly budgets and annual amounts are effective from 1 November 2025 and are subject to change in March and September each year in line with indexation.

Transitioned HCP care recipients will continue to receive an equivalent level of funding (including supplements) as their previous Home Care Package. The previous annual package amount is divided into four to create a support at home quarterly budget.

YOUR HOME CARE PACKAGE

This Schedule provides information on the price for common services you can access through a homecare package. The cost will be deducted from your overall package budget. There are many other services you can access through a home care package that are not listed below. This may include allied health services, home maintenance, aids or equipment which may form part of your care plan. Services delivered as part of your care plan are GST-free. CARE MANAGEMENT

Care management is an important service that includes coordinating care and services that will help you deliver on the goals you identified in your Care plan Every Home Care Package, including those being self-managed will require some level of care management.

Approach to Care Management: Our Staff member will determine what support and services are available to you and will arrange for these services to be delivered to you. Care managers will review your care needs and complete a care plan assessment. Our aim is to support you at home and empower you to make the best care decisions for your individual needs.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF COMMON SERVICES

CARE MANAGEMENT FEE
Care management includes the ongoing care planning and assessments we are required to undertake to ensure you receive the care you need. It includes reviewing your care plan and agreement, discussing your care and services with you and / or your representative, ensuring the services you receive are culturally safe and identifying and minimizing risks to your safety and wellbeing.
Personal Care
Personal care services may include help with bathing; showering; toileting; dressing/undressing; getting in and out of bed; washing and drying hair; shaving; and reminding you to take your medication.
Domestic assistance
Domestic assistance includes tasks such as household cleaning, vacuum, laundry, etc.
Nursing Services
We will provide you with nurses that can support you with services such as medication, wound care, continence care, diabetes management, medications, care plan development and dementia support.
Allied Health Services
We also arrange some clinicians that can help you with falls risk assessments, home safety checks, exercise programs, and many more.
Lawn & Light Gardening Maintenance
As we can assist in keeping your house feeling clean and fresh from the inside we can also assist you in keeping your home with regular lawn mowing, pruning, and gardening.
Minor Home Modifications
At times you may need to make some changes on the inside of your home which can make life easier. By modifying your home with handrails, lever taps, ramps, or bathroom modifications. An Occupational Therapist assessment will be conducted to determine if these minor modifications are necessary to keep you living safely and independently at home. We cannot fund home modifications that are not clinically necessary.

In-home respite
In-home respite provides short-term personalized care at home with an experienced carer. It provides flexibility to meet your needs and those of your regular caregiver.
Travelling to care recipient
Travelling to care for a recipient refers to the act of going to a location where a person who requires assistance or care is located.
Important Note:
Basic Daily Fee
At Comfort Care Services Pty Ltd, we do not charge customers a Basic Daily Fee. You may be required to pay an income tested fee depending on your income.
Exit Fee
At Comfort Care Services Pty Ltd we do not charge customers an Exit Fee, but we require you to provide us 2 weeks’ notice.
Cancellation fees for the service
If the service, you request is cancelled prior to 24 hours of notice no fee will be charged. However, if you fail to give notice to cancel a booked service within 24 hours a fee will be charged at the applicable rate.
Minimum booking hours
2 hours of minimum booking is required unless notified otherwise.
